How it works

A clear start, then the same rhythm every month

Four steps, a written scope before work starts and a short summary each month.

An open blank notebook with a pencil
  1. Step 01

    Short call

Fifteen minutes about your business, your software and what’s overdue. We send a written scope afterwards, so you can see what’s included before anything starts.

  2. Step 02

    Access and records

You add us as a user in your software and share the records on the checklist. No passwords by email.

  3. Step 03

    Catch-up and setup

We bring the books current, tidy the chart of accounts and set up bank feeds and receipt capture.

  4. Step 04

    Monthly rhythm

Each month: reconcile, code, close and send a short summary. At quarter end, a BAS-ready pack goes to your agent.

A month at a glance

A typical month for a client on a monthly package.

  1. Week 1

    Reconcile

Bank and card accounts matched to the statements.

  2. Week 2

    Bills

Supplier bills entered, matched and queried.

  3. Week 3

    Reports

Profit and loss, cash position and aged receivables.

  4. Week 4

    Close

Month closed and a short summary sent to you.

Example schedule. Your schedule is agreed in the scope.

What we need from you

Less than most people expect, and all of it on one list.

  • Access, not passwords

You add us as a user in your own software, with the level of access you choose.

  • The records on the checklist

Statements, open bills and a few notes about how the business runs.

  • Nothing sensitive by email

Never email passwords or tax file numbers. A real practice would give you a secure method.
